This darling doll is a reproduction of the Simon & Halbig (K*R) #122 head mold and is done on an all porcelain body; she is 19" tall including stand. She is a lovely example of the work of a talented doll artist from the Houston area. As a reproduction I think I would call her a "modern" style but still with an old-fashioned look. From her beautiful green paperweight eyes and her wispy blonde bangs that peek out from under the bonnet brim you can tell she has been carefully done.
The mark on her neck reads "K star R, Simon & Halbig, 122".
Her outfit, handmade as well, is the perfect touch for spring. The dress, bonnet, and pantaloons are made of a sage green dotted swiss on a cream background. Rows and more rows of lace add a feminine touch and a cream picot satin ribbon holds her bonnet in place. Dainty crystal AB buttons add back interest.
The finishing touch is a sweet cream embroidered eyelet apron. Dainty shoes and socks show that she is ready for Easter fun...she already has her Easter basket loaded with some eggs and a cute bunny!
The look on her face is that of a delightful little girl ready for a wonderful day!
She will be shipped carefully wrapped and double boxed. Insurance will of course be required. Since she weighs 4.5 pounds herself; the shipping weight will of necessity be about 10 pounds. (Postage costs are charged by zones now; if your location is not as distant, any overage will be refunded.) Dolls this precious deserve the best of care!

PAYMENT METHODS: Your purchase may be paid for through Paypal, money order, cashier's check, or personal check. We try to ship within 2 business days after receipt of payment. If you send a personal check, please allow about 10 days for bank clearance before shipping.
RETURNS: We offer a refund if the item is not as represented, and if the item is returned in the same condition as sent. Item must be returned within 5 days after being received by the buyer.
SHIPPING is one cost that always has to be figured in when buying on line. We strive to keep them as reasonable as possible. (I prefer to think of it as saving you the cost of a shopping trip!) Delivery Confirmation is included in shipping charges as a protection for both buyer and seller. On multiple purchases, shipping will be happily combined to save costs for the buyer.
For international buyers accurate amounts are extremely important and vary widely from country to country. We consider each request carefully...and should we overcharge on an estimate, we will refund any amount over $1.00.
INSURANCE: We recommend insurance on any item that is fragile or is valued at over $50.00. We pack as carefully as possible but cannot be responsible for how it's handled once it leaves us.
